Non-cooking bio-gas has started commercial production. In Nepal, for the first time, Infobower Energy and Fertilizer Liaison has started producing professional gas production.

Using a local indigenous raw materials, the gas industry has been operated in Surkhali of Nawalparasi. Gas production has been produced using dung, chickpea sulli, wastewater, and green leaves.

Now 80 cylinder gas is being produced from the industry. The price of gas weighing up to 10 kilograms of wheat is estimated to be about Rs. 100. He said investment of 22 million rupees to establish the industry used by German technology in Ramagram Municipal Corporation of Nawarparasi.

The industry is selling its own production only to the business establishment. He informed that he was testing gas in the kitchen of Wama Tenduras and KPIM Child Center in Bhairahawa for three months.
